My family has been "babysitting" my friend's Basset Hound...

this is Burrito the Basset Hound -- the sweetest dog in the world!

My friend Dan is coming this morning to pick him up and I am going to miss him. Burrito is 11 years old and used to be my old roommate's dog, but was more like my dog. My old roommate got him when he was a few months old and I raised him from a pup. I tried to take him with me when I moved out but my roommate wouldn't let me have him. He used to sleep in my room, and I used to take him to the dog park every day. My friend Dan eventually moved in with my roommate and Burrito eventually became his dog. It has been great having him around, again...he is a wonderful boy.

1. What a sweet old boy.
It sounds as if he is a nice old dog, so many people want him around! I am glad you had time to visit with your old pal. Give him a belly rub for me, will ya?

5. He looks hefty in this photo, but he actually isn't fat.
He's in pretty good shape for being 11!!

He does like to eat, though!!
