3. A lot of neutrality on beets, I'm guessing.
I find that surprising. I love beets. I had a delicious roasted beet salad last night, with red and golden beets, walnuts, feta cheese and baby arugula. My mouth is watering for it now.

12. i've only had them canned or pickled, maybe if i could buy them fresh and
roast them, do people roast beets? Anyhow i would try them that way with lots of kosher salt and cracked black pepper.

28. I once ate beets, pissed purple, and thought I was dying.
Then again, I was 8 years old at the time. Still, I don't eat beets anymore. Too traumatic.
