If I died, no way would my wife think 'Oooooh, I should notify DU'.

3. Me, probably not
If I were to die at home, it's quite possible that I could be all decomposed 'n' shit before anybody knew I was daid, and then my family and RL friends wouldn't know to contact my electric friends.

Guess I oughta make a list for 'em.

In the event of my death, my computer will e-mail everyone who needs to know, it will also attempt to upload my memories and personality to itself as well.

I'm paranoid. :hide:

Since we originally met online, we both recognize that some of the best friends a person can have are people that they may never have met in person. We know all of the forums and social sites that the other frequents, and we share passwords with one another just in case.

38. All the time...
I've lost count of how many times I've pulled the New York Times up in a second window underneath the DU window, just so I could click DU off onto the Times when she walks in the room. I lead a double life, and it doesn't even involve mistresses, drugs or gambling. B-)

18. Probably not.
I don't have any close friends or family members that post on DU, some don't even know I post here.
But if I died, it would probably be in the newspaper, and not just in the obits.

It would probably be in the newspaper that I work for, if no where else.

There's a chance a fellow DUer could read the newspaper and figure out that it was me, especially the ones that have facebook or myspace and know what my real name is.

21. It's a safe bet that you would know if I died tomorrow...
Since my husband is a DU'er now...

And my good friend KitchenWitch would announce it if he were unable...

We set that up a long time ago, before he joined...

And I would do it for her, of course, in a heartbeat...

I don't even want to think about it...

It's just too sad and scary...

33. You'd probably hear about it on your local TV station in their "In lighter news..." segement.
What can I say? I'm clumsy these days. I think my equilibrium is a little off.

Make sure you watch your local news when winter comes around. As it turns out, I don't mix well with icy stairs precariously perched atop sheer cliffs of granite directly positioned over spire-like spears of rock rising up sharply out of the Earth's surface.
