Until recently the Washington State University Cougars had an interesting nickname which they cherished. Sadly it is no-longer emblazoned across Cougar gear. We fans of the U of W Huskies deeply lament this change by our nobel adversaries and swear to faithfully remember that moniker for as long as there are...well as long as there are WSU Cougars! Someday we hope they will return to their dear old 'WAZZU'. It just seemed so....so... fitting.

(btw, Congrats 'WAZZU' Cougs for the best Apple Cup EVER last fall and special congrats for a fine run to the Elite Eight in Basketball last season too...some of those boys will be back as Seniors next season...mark my words, that Rochesty(sp?) kid's gonna be one to watch!!!)

PS: yeah, yeah... I know it was off topic...here: Cougars are just great big kittens...who doesn't love kittens? ...Feel better?
