Okay, this is weird. It involves Dr. Laura and Hulk Hogan.

I'm driving somewhere the other day with Baby Bunny, and we had the radio tuned to Dr. Laura. We like to laugh at her and some of the pathetic people who call her. Anyhoo, a caller named "Brooke" told Dr. Laura that she was having a problem with her father. "Brooke" is starting a reality show, and her father won't appear on the show. "Brooke" wants to know how to get her dad to agree to be on her show. Well, Dr. Laura tears into her, and tells her that reality shows are awful, and that she's the scum of the earth, and etc.

I was pondering the odds of a caller to the Dr. Laura radio program having her own reality show, when it occurred to me that "Brooke" is the name of Hulk Hogan's daughter, and that she is supposed to be doing a reality show on TV. I put two and two together, and decided that it was Hulk Hogan's daughter calling Dr. Laura to get her father to agree to be on her show.

Or, it could have been a hoax. Either way, it amused me.

It's also a little scary that I know so much about Hulk Hogan's family, especially considering that I've never watched his show.

...she jumps in with what she THINKS the person is saying and then berates them for that. Also, her off-the-cuff examples are hilarious: "If you want to stay, stay, but if you want to have a life that's full of roaming baby sheep then do that."

Dr. Laura is just too much. She's a sick pleasure for me - if I'm in the car when her show is on, I always tune her in. It's hard to decide who's worse: her, or the knuckleheads that call her.
