Anyone ever participated in a Spiral Dance?

I did last night, for the first time, and all I can say is "Wow."

1. Yep.

A number of times, years ago. A couple hundred people, full moon, with a fire in the center of it all.

2. I didn't know what to expect.

I felt like I had taken a drug. I can't imagine what it must have been like with that many people, I guess 50-70 were there last night.

3. Honestly, that's probably a better number

A couple hundred takes quite a while to get through the whole thing. On the other hand, by the time it's all said and done, it can be a pretty incredible feeling. Oh, I almost forgot. We almost always had some killer drummers as well. :woohoo:

4. I've done a couple.

The biggest was several years ago at Samhain, led by Starhawk at Herbst Auditorium (Theater?) in San Francisco. I think there were at least 500 people there. The auditorium is quite large and it was packed to the gills.
