2. He hasn't had his stuff since the
Yankees sent him back to Phoenix. They broke him -- last year he was 4-3, this year he's only 4-4 and he even struggled through his rehab in Triple-A.

I can't figure out why these pitchers keep going until they come across as has-beens, but a lot of 'em do it. If it was you, wouldn't you want to go out a winner?

For sure. The buffet is closed on Mr Johnson's career
I did get to see him pitch at Wrigley against the Cubs when he was with Houston. He pitched a helluva game, and the Cubs lost :(
