Okay...that was strange...but I'll take it.
I sent in an application this evening to a progressive think tank, but hadn't yet sent the resume to accompany because who's actually in the office at 6:15PM on a Friday? I figure I have some time. Well...I was just about to email the resume after a lot of revisions and there is an email from the think tank...they, sight-unseen on my resume, based only on the short answer questions want me to interview for a position above the one I applied for.

So...I might be moving to either New Haven or Denver. If the higher position doesn't blow me away (it's in CO), I think I'm going to ask to only be considered for the lower position because it's in CT and because it'll put me 90 minutes outside Manhattan and 20 minutes out of Hartford.

So...the posed question...Do I get shitfaced in celebration or call my underemployed GOPer friend JP to gloat?

4. Is that something you would be interested in?
If so, PM me I can send you the website of the organization and their hiring page on Idealist...I know that they are looking for a boatload of field organizers in the mid-$20K range as well. I just checked and they're looking for field personnel in about 90 cities.

I don't want to publicly post it (for now) because the lower position locally which I may request to be interviewed for is a field organizing one. I'm all about sharing the wealth and getting my fellow DUers working, but I'm not going to slit my own throat by recruiting competition. Once I'm hired...I'm going to do what I can to get other DUers in the door.

6. I didn't see anything...
It seems to be a lot of Iowa, Michigan, Ohio, Missou, Wisconsin, VA, PA, NC.

Nothing in that entire area oddly, maybe they have not posted it yet. No Neb, Kansas, TX, OK, LA, AL, MS? They're adding more sites every day it seems though. I'll PM you the links so you can follow them to see if they add your location. Other than that you might want to contact them...a lot of the sites are liberal bastions in conservative places, i.e Ames, IA, St. Louis, MO and Dearborn, MI
