Jay Leno sez: why do comedy when you can make fun of ordinary people?

Ever notice how, after the monologue, when Dave, Conan, Craig, and even Jimmy will do a pre-taped or rehearsed bit, Jay Leno will turn the camera on some unsuspecting rubes and let his audience laugh at them?

If it's not a newspaper misprint, or an humiliating audience "talent" show, he relies on the infamous Jaywalking--where smart people are carefully edited out to make way for some unsuspecting local ignoramus who thinks the capital of the US is Philadelphia? Cue the Leno smirking, the "gee, ain't the hoi palloi dumb?" smarm.

Tonight, they went to an inventor's convention, where pre-taped inventors pitched their products to the studio audience, while Jay winks. And of COURSE the one who got the most yuks was the Taiwanese gentleman who "no speak English very good!" Get it? Foreign=funny!

Geez, Leno--you have the what must be the highest paid writers in the business. Do they just take everything in the show after the first 15 minutes off? I mean, I KNOW you're more interested in the beautiful and famous, who MUST be smarter than us because, let's be honest, they appear on bilboards! But COME ON!

I hate Jay Leno.

By "recently," I mean "on Letterman, about 23 years ago."

And by "bit," I mean "one joke."



He's a tremendously unfunny and overpaid hack.

Leno is a lazy, no talent, jack ass.
