Poll question: Who lies more: girls to boys, or boys to girls?
Or is it tolerably close to even?

Was just thinking about it today, and I couldn't come to any clear opinion, so I thought I'd sample DU.



(Yes, this poll leaves out gay folks, but only because I couldn't think of any interesting information contained in an answer to the question "Who lies more: boys to boys, or boys to boys?".)

It seems to leave out ALL adults. Boys? Girls? And do you really think gay men don't talk to women, nor lesbian women talk to men? Transgendered people don't talk to anybody?

I don't really mean to incite anything here, just think the original post could have been better thought out.

I don't think the OP intended in any way to sleight gays. He/she even articulated that they did not know how to relate the topic to gays.

It was just an honest observation and question, IMNSHO.

I don't mean to ruffle your feathers or get into a discussion about what is or is not PC. But it's just a message board, ya know? No need to take innocuous posts or questions personally.

My feathers aren't ruffled, either by you or Bloo.

It just seemed to me, Bloo could have put a bit more thought into the wording of the poll, since he did notice that it was at least somewhat awkward. Who lies more - males to females or females to males would have worked, I guess. :shrug:

11. Good question. And I don't have a good answer.
I think women can manipulate and influence men much easier than other men can. And vice versa.

However, I think the gay community is in a category of it's own, and the "rules" and "boundaries" still baffle me. Men lie to men, and women lie to women. And then still end up being best buddies???

16. You mean like when I say I enjoy math...
because I'm trying to date a math teacher? That's not a lie...because we both know that I'm full of it. I'm saying it because she wants to hear it even if it isn't true and anything beyond basic arithmetic requires a calculator for me.
