went walking with my daughter and she got
sick in the heat....

face got flushed and blotchy and she was nauseous

found her brother at the firehouse and he drove her home...

I walked the rest of the way and was perspiring REALLY bad....

Sorry she had a rough time, it takes time to get used to heat, by the end of summer I will be and then it will be cooling off and I'll still be GRATEFUL when the first cold snap (maybe down from 100 to 90 or something) hits then even more so when the thermometer hits those 50 degree nights and 80 degree days... my favorite times of the year are when the temp is in that range

It is nice out tonight, a little warm, but the breeze feels good. Still 87 degrees now.

SPK jr called from Florida, it rained, and the air was cool. He was upset that he wasn't going to get to go to the beach tonight, but its a little late and apparently he hadn't been today. But he went on a cruise there for the day.

This has been my first trip to the beach since my knee went bad.

The breeze is nice and cool here at the old beach house.

We have some bbq chicken going, and lots of other good stuff to eat and drink.

I think I walked to much today, the ice pack is feeling good on my knee right now..

and I lay in my neck traction machine for about 15 min and couldn't move for like nearly 30 min. Freaked me the hell out! I finally could roll to the sides and was able to get to my elbows and then worked my way up. It is better now, but dang, I've not ever had that happen before. Gonna have to see what me and my doc can do about that.

Glad your knee is feeling a little better, walking is good though, will make it stronger.
