My daughter had her first swim meet yesterday.

She swam the 25 yard Butterfly, the 25 yard Backstroke, the 25 yard Breast stroke, and she swam the anchor lap in the 100 yard freestyle relay!

I am so proud.

Not sure how she placed yet because there were several heats.

When she started her lap in the freestyle relay, her team was in 5th out of 6 in her heat. By the time she finished her lap, she had made up enough time that her team ended up 3rd out of 6.

I was on swim team when I was in school, and my daughter followed suit.

3. I was on the swim team also....

but I quit when I realized I couldn't keep a cigarette lit during the backstroke. :hi:
