I need to go find some 'summer chic' for a party tonight

I wish I knew what that was, it would help immensely. I DO know that my current summer wardrobe falls into the 'summer frump' category so it won't do.

2. I went for a purple linen jacket

White cropped pants and silver sandals. It should look nice with my silver and amethyst jewelry.

Black was my first thought but I wear that so much. I wanted something different. Thanks for the suggestion, though!
