can someone explain why VH1 is doing "I love the New Millennium"?
Why the need to look back at 2004 and 2005 like it was 20 years ago? How about instead of having a bunch of D-listers talk about stuff that happed last week, get legendary actors to do "I love the '60's" or "I love the 40's"

3. but...
BEATLES!

I wanna hear Morgan Freeman talk about the first time he heard the Beatles.

I don't need to hear about William Hung any more.

5. The episodes have been good for me and my husband
I missed most of 2002 because I had a baby who only slept in 2 hr. stretches for about 4 months. <shudder> I still remember the sleep deprivation shakes. :scared:

My husband and I missed 2005 and parts of 2006 because he was in Iraq and all we did was IM, webcam and talk on the phone. The rest of the time for me was spent teaching and taking care of the baby who was now 3 and screamed for her Daddy every day. :( More sleep deprivation shakes. :scared:

We were both glued to them. We would look at each other and say, "Do you remember when that happened? Me neither." I totally missed the Andrew W. K. phenomenon. Never heard of him until I watched him on that show.

I guess for me it's just recent history that I missed, but I do get your point. :hi:

6. Apparently I missed the Andrew W. K. phenomenon, too.
And I had neither a baby nor a husband in Iraq.

What was the Andrew W. K. phenomenon, exactly?

7. I think it started with this song
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuw7tcftAoU

which actually isn't bad for what I like to listen to (in small doses).

Then he went on to become a motivational speaker I guess.
