After that accusation, I WILL take an attitude with you, you whiney, non-cooperative jackass.

"I'm not raising my voice at you, sir."
"Bullshit, I work in customer service, I know what you're doing."
"I'm sorry sir, I'm really not trying to take an attitude with you."
"Keep telling yourself that."

Might be worth noting that every time my supervisors review my calls, they commend me on my polite, engaging tone.

I've NEVER experienced someone so insanely oversensitive though. He actually hung up on me I've taken thousands of calls in my customer service career and not once has anyone freaked out because I was too confrontational, haha. Even when I DO get confrontational.

I learned that there are some people you can NEVER please, no matter what you do.
