Remember when Shine posted that ShineBoy had used her credit card
to download music to the tune of $300? One of TM's friends who was at Beach Week, used his mom's credit card to the tune of $300 for 20 minutes with a stripper at a club. How would you like to get THAT bill in the mail?

4. How do these kids get the credit cards in the first place!
Do they steal them from their 'rents? Ouch.

5. She gave it to him to use in an 'emergency'.
But, I think his definition is a little different than hers.

I went off to college, and later overseas for a couple of weeks, and never once did I get offered my parents credit card for "emergencies." Oh well. And this was even before every kid had a cell phone "for emergencies."

11. And she let him live?
If I had even THOUGHT about doing something like that, I'd have been dead meat.

13. My MIL gave my 50-year-old BIL a credit card
to use in case of emergency. He ran up $8000 on it (she's blind and never saw the bills), stopped paying the minimums, and now her credit is shot. She moved from his house to ours and now I worry she'll never be able to get her own place because of her credit issues.

Forget misusing the credit card, the kid got ripped off. I've had HOURS of fun at a strip club and spent a whole lot less.
