Some of my dogs are exceptionally "clingy" today.
One little guy is following me EVERYWHERE, he even tried to walk into the shower with me. Another is jumping up in my lap EVERY time I sit down.

1. Are there storms forecast for your area?
My dachshund goes berserk when it's about to storm.

3. Fireworks?
The dogs here got a double dose of fireworks and thunderstorms last night. They nearly asphyxiated me in my sleep with their clingyness.

9. Lucy is doing fine, no problems from the bite.

She had me worried for a while.

(thanks for asking!)

It is Larry & Curly who are being clingy today.

Larry is the lighter short haired dog, Curly is the long haired guy.

6. I know th feeling.
I am the only one home until Thursday so all the pets are sticking close to me.

They know I am the only one here to feed them.

10. Me or the dogs?
No, I feel great. The dogs seem to be happy, they just want a LOT of attention for some reason.

13. Now you have me nervous!
Luckily they have resumed normal behavior after I mowed the yard. Maybe they were trying to say "Dood, the lawns is scratching our bellies, please cut it"?

16. Pru was shaking when I got home.
I had to sit, cover her up and let her try to crawl up inside me before she calmed down. Wonder what is up.

17. They can detect changes in barometric pressure. Maybe ....
there is a change in the weather coming your way.

Or... when you were away from them, they might have gotten into a spat. The clingy ones are probably feeling insecure or guilty.
As leader of the pack, being close to you makes them feel safe.
