2. I think it would be awfully selfish of Favre to come back
For the past two or three years, he has pretty much held the Packers hostage, not allowing them to develop another QB, because he could not decide whether to play or not.

He was a great player (and I am a Viking fan), but it is time for him to hang up the pads and let Aaron Rodgers take over the team.

4. Peter King is speculating he may wind up with Minnesota or Chicago
if things really go to shit.

Brett Favre in a Vikings uniform...... :puke:

8. Actually I think it might actually make more Packer Backer heads explode
than Vikings fans.

9. why on God's green earth would Favre chose a divisional rival?
At least Joe Montana had the good sense to not even stay in the same CONFERENCE as the niners.

5. i agree
i understand this is the time when players start getting in that mindset, so the itch has returned, but the packers have already changed their playbook to fit Rodgers. It, for all intents and purposes is Rodgers team now, all the rookies know is Rodgers. They can't change it back all of a sudden two months before the season.

10. Dear LORD, how many times can one QB retire, anyway?
Really, Bret. Go ice down your knees. Stay home. Get a gig as a commentator. Anything.
