Dehumidifier water...question:
Wouldn't water from a room dehumidifier (with a clean holding tank) be about as pure as distilled water?
Or even just about the same thing?

2. Ewww
It will gather spores and pollen from the air. In addition, the unit itself is not sterile. Water can grow algae or gather bacteria.

You can water plants/garden with it but I wouldn't drink it. Yuck.

5. Do water plants. Don't drink.
Soaking some unshucked corn for grilling in it.
If I'm not here tomorrow, you'll know why.

6. The heat of the grill should kill any yuckies.
But I wouldn't recommend doing that in the future.

3. My dear trof!
It is essentially distilled...

I would not, however, drink it...

We used to have a dehumidifier that ran quite a lot, and it produced a lot of water every day!

I saved a lot of it, and I use it in my steam iron...

It works great, too!

:hi:

4. I'm soaking 2 ears of corn in it for grilling.
Unshucked.
Am I gonna die?
:scared:
