Ow. Late night vibes needed, please.

I was having a good night, and I even said so in a post. I should have known better. In less than an hour everything changed and now I'm waiting to see if I need to go to the ER. :(

I'm getting severe stabbing pains in both of my legs below the knees radiating down into my feet. Even with my crutches I can't stand or hobble. So here I sit at the computer, waiting for my second round of evening meds to start helping.

The meds are not only supposed to releive the pain and muscle cramps, they're supposed to knock me out. If a double dose of everything isn't killing the pain, and isn't putting me to sleep, then it's going to be a long unpleasant night. x(

I've hit my medication limit so if this doesn't work and I need more I have to go to the ER and have a doctor give me injections.

My nephew is here, and he's young enough to partying most nights so staying up is no biggie for him. If I need to go to the ER he'll be awake and responsible. I can't tell you how glad I am that he's here. I'm already babbling, and I know I'm going to get less coherent as the night goes on.

It's weird. My cat, Silver is insisting on laying down near me, but he won't come within arms reach. He's watching me.

I'm stuggling to pay for both of our bills because he's a broke artist trying to start a business. I'm partially supporting him so he can live on the little bit of erratic money that comes in the first few years, and I couldn't be happier. He's the best investment I've got. :)

In exchange, he's here for me. He's a very good cook (even vegan stuff), and he's very clean, and he's a very cool, easy person to live with.

It always turns out okay in the end. The pain passes and I endure. I keep reminding myself of that. Pain often feels so intrenched and permanent that I have to remind myself that it's not always there and it won't always be there. I just have to endure it and wait.
:)

I'm so lightheaded (and having some double vision) so enduring is definitely getting easier. Hopefully this is a good signt. It probably means I'll be in a blissful medicated sleep soon.

I love it when medications work. I just wish they worked at the lower proscribed levels instead of the higher.

It really is very cool. I definitely can't live alone anymore, and he's a wonderful person and a lot of help. And because it's him and not some stranger-roommate, he's kind and diligent and persistent about looking out for me. :)

I wish everyone who needed help had someone this good to help them and look out for them.

He is in his room on the phone with a friend, but he has poked his head out to check on me twice already. :)

My meds finally knocked me out, but I'm going to be a bit out of it all day today as a result.

I've got progress in one left though. The cramps and spasms have stopped. I'm still working on stretching out and relaxing the other one. By this afternoon hopefull this will all be well. :)
