What, in your estimation, is your favorite word in the English Language?
Mine's is "Hooker".

Maybe it's just me, but when Bender says it in 'Futurama', I always seem to crack up...

If the OP can type it and everyone can understand it without ambiguity, it's a word, and the goofy-ass rules that pretend it isn't are wrong.

I just used it metephorically in a review I wrote of "Traveler from Altruria " by William Dean Howels. I was describing the fact that the host, Twelvmough, is uncomfortable with his guests (Homos) take on the Declaration of Independence. I said that he was uncomfortable with his exegesis of this American Scripture.

I think it is a cool word.

edit: Way, way back when the DU servers were run by gerbils running around on wheels a la The Flintstones, we had a DUer who used a variant of it as his/her screen name! I used to use "Floxy" for short...
