1. I don't know about the copycat part
but I know in my own life I've slowly gotten LESS mature as I went from being a boy to being a man. :shrug:

3. I tried to be all mature and grown-up and crap when I was a kid
right around 8th grade I realized that I wasn't having any FUN, so I started becoming less and less mature. :P
