It seems that there was a lot of opposition to Obama speaking at Brandenburg... was that mainly due to Merkel or did the berlin mayor waffle?

neither do we know when he speaks. All we know is THAT he speaks :rofl:

It was due to Merkel. The Berlin mayor, Klaus Wowereit, gave his OK for the Brandenburg Gate.

10. Cool. Whereever it is will be a ZOO
and it should be interesting. Looks like the DemsAbroad bus is not going, they couldn't get enough people to fill the short bus. So it's every man for him/herself. They have no plans to try to meet him either, I was hoping they might. I'll investigate further with some higher ups. :hi:
