2. Twin Penthouse Pets, thanks.
Exotic, but likely a lot of trouble.

Probably worth it though.

6. Veganism will be the last thing to...uh, "come up"
We'll cross that bridge when we need to. Most likely with me incredibly worn out and exceedingly dehydrated.

3. A bird.
And a salt-water aquarium.

Cute picture! It reminds me of that gorilla, Koko, who had a pet kitten a number of years ago.

4. I like reptiles, but nothing too big to handle.
Although if you wanna go really exotic, would you mind taking a time machine back to the dinosaur era and getting me a little one? :P

10. bearded Dragons are great
they get about 12 inches plus tail. VERY friendly, will hang out on your shoulder and take food from your hand.

12. They're not too exotic, they're fairly common as far as pets go.
I thought about getting one a while back. From what I've heard, they kind of have a 'teenager' stage though. When they hit adolescence, they tend to get all grumpy. But as children and adults they're plenty friendly. :P

14. Someone needs to inform Haruka's one Bearded Dragon that he's supposed to be friendly
The bastard took a chunk out of my flip flop once, ate the leg off the other bearded, and attacks everything that goes past his tank.

i guess every species has it's mean bastards. I've had two and both were friendly, both would try to take some nips at my hand if they were hungry, but nothing too bad.

They're pretty stupid, most of them can't survive on their own.

that I misread because I didn't realize it was a copycat, this looks like the save thread to post on. :P

If I could handle big cats I'd love to have one or two as pets. :)

Of course, it would have to be trained to not hog the bed - and only to maul the people who really deserve it...

22. I recall once
reading about a nice critter that looked to be a cross between a ferret and a cat. Seemed pretty kick ass. I have wanted one for years, but I can never remember what they are called.

Ok. Google being my friend, I believe they are called a Fossa.

31. Ocelot.
I'd have to have it spayed/neutered though immediately. They can breed with common felines and that causes problems ecologically.

Imagine large broods of communal voracious mean super-fast housecats...now imagine that I live near a wildlife sanctuary.
