A rant - and you get to see the jerk side of me!

What is with some people? Seriously, I'm sitting here at 8:30 on a sunday night and some guy phones, "Hi this is Leo smith (name changed) I'm just calling to make sure my ad was cancelled for tomorrow Liza called up to cancel it the other day."
I said, "Oh sorry I'm really not the one to speak to about this I'm just the reporter. But I'll leave a note for Jill (our ad person) for tomorrow morning."

SO he says, " YEah I just wanted to be sure it was cancelled because I've rented the place.... it was a duplex in Bellevue.. I put the ad in in January."

Me, "Oh, okay I'll make sure Jill gets this."

Him " Yeah the ad had the phone number in, I just want to be sure it's cancelled."

Him, "It was january 27th I believe when I placed the ad."
Me "Yes I will make sure Jill gets this, as I said I'm not the one to talk too."

AND ON AND ON... WHat a fucking knob! Does he not speak fuking english - cause he could of fooled me. And as If I give a shit if it was a duplex, I felt like bitchin this dipshit out for being a fucking asswipe.
I can't stand people like that.

This is a friend of mines site. He too works at a newspaper. This seems to put him in contact with a never ending stream of really stupid people. Bad for him, funny for us thanks to the wonder of the INTERNET.
