1. It's actually cheaper to buy a new uniform tie than it is to dry clean one

5. Why do you need to dry clean ties, may I ask?
when I used to have to dress up in a suit & tie for work, I never dry cleaned my ties... the dry cleaning often ruined them. My ties were all silk, if I recall.

if I spilled something on my tie, I would take the back part of the tie and rub it on the spill until the spot was gone.

6. because my son doesn't take care of this clothes
instead of taking his ties off and hanging them up nicely, he takes the off, throws them all over the place and then when I ask him to pick up, he throws them in w/ his nasty, sweaty, icky laundry.

I bought a Dryel kit about a month ago... I think I'm going to use that instead of dry cleaning the remaining ties. Near as I can tell, that is the best option.

7. It's been a while since I had to wear a tie regularly
but, I know drycleaning was never a good option back in the 90s. Of course, technology is better now than it was back then...
