Poll question: Bat-dorks: Who should the villain be for the third Batman movie?
I'm taking the Joker, Two-Face, and Ra's Al-Ghul out of the running. I'm also leaving out the Penguin, since Nolan seemingly does not want to use him at all.

Synopsis
Bruce Wayne and Dick Grayson attend a benefit show for the Vaudeville Relief Fund, featuring some of vaudeville's biggest stars. But the magic show of Scortini is used, unintended by the magician, as a disruption during which crooks rob the box office.
The thieves escape even though Batman and Robin appear, and the money is divided up amoung the minions of gangster Jay Jandron.
To get the money back, the six vaudevillians--Scortini, quick-changeman Elmo, strongman Leo the Mighty, tightrope walker Carey,
ventriloquist Victor Voice, and the India Rubberman, all go to work as Batman's and Robin's assistants. They use their talents in various helpful ways, for instance, when Leo grabs the bumper of a suspects car and lifts it off the ground to prevent him from taking off-- and track down one of the crooks, Vern Shively, stringing a mike with a mike with the aid of rubberman and having the tighrope walker keep a watch outside his third story window. Shively is shadowed and, after he leads them to others in the gang, is nabbed by Leo and replaced by Forbes the quick-change man. Forbes is found out, but Batman deduces their foes' destination, a moored yacht which Leo begins hauling in, a handful at a time.
The heroes and their vaudville allies storm the boat, overwhelm Jandron and his gang, and nab him and his croines in various inventive ways (such as when the rubberman jumps out of a connecting tube to grab Jandron). The money is recovered, and Batman gives the credit for the caper to his six strange sleuths.

:D (' cause he has my last name)

He told me to take his wife..Please and that his apartment was so small the mice were hunchbacked.

Only remember seeing him in one Batman Detective comic, but I remember it as a good story that made more use of Batman's deductive and sleuthing skills. Still plenty of action to go around.

8. I think they can easily make a good film with the Riddler
Go down tempo. Make the Riddler less a clown and more a psychological genius mind.

Toss out the riddles and gimmicks and give us deep psychodrama. Make Batman use his mind, not to create new gadgets, but to dig into the criminal subconscious.

46. That's what makes Clayface so good for the third one-- the effects industry can do it in spades
and they can be as creative as they want-- Penguin, Riddler, Freeze, Ivy, Catwoman, Two face, Scarecrow, Joker--they've all been done--

Arkham has some great one's, but hopefully they'll go with Clayface should a third one be done.

10. I'd always hoped for a good Catwoman
Annette Bening was supposed to do it in the earlier movies, but got herself good and pregnant so Michelle Pfeiffer got the part - and she was just "meh" in it.

It'd have to be somebody really spectacular, though - not just Halle Berry in a body suit. Cate Blanchett could do a good job.

I loved what they did with his character in the 90s Batman cartoon. And when they brought him back for an episode of Batman Beyond... that was a powerful episode. Probably my favorate from that entire show.

I totally missed that one!

Of course, it was implied that they'd come to a sort of understanding after Wayne totalled the Lamborghini. And The Riddler's name is Edward Nigma, rather than Mister Reese.

Still, that was a fine observation! :applause:

33. I didn't feel that all was settled
I thought Bruce's look was "I KNOW you know, keep your trap shut, fucker, I saved your life." I'd be fine if Nolan changed the Riddler's name to Mister Reese and used that unknown actor to play him. He doesn't have to have a big onscreen part, but always have batman on his toes.
