The cat came home...after nearly a week missing.
God are we relieved. She looks like she's seen some rough times. She's very thin, and there's a lot of dirt matted in her fur. She hasn't had much of an appetite, and she seems very weak. She might not have eaten in several days. I worry about what she's been through. Mom will take her to the vet tomorrow for a checkup, but right now, we're just glad she's home.

5. I have to thank everyone who was concerned about our kitty...
and gave advice and vibes for her safe return home. There's a very happy 11-year-old in this house tonight.

4. Taking her to the vet is a good idea.
My Leon was missing for 3 1/2 months once. He just showed up on the back deck one morning. He was flea-infested, had lost weight and was dehydrated. But a trip to the vet for fluids and Frontline, and a few good meals and he was good as new. Hope it goes as well for your girl!

8. she most likely is dehydrated and hungry.. Don't know how hot it is

where you are, but we are in to the brazillionth day of 100 degree temps and low low humidity. Not good for animals caught outdoors. Being dehydrated will make them very lethargic, and they won't eat.
:) :) :hi: :hi:
