from Jeff Beck the album Truth.

since it's just a portion of the song, that specific portion may not be from that specific album, but the song, with Rod singing, is from that album.

That's not the same song but the sound is the same.

I didn't know they had a band together. Sounds damn good.

7. Rod had been in a band called "Steam Packet"
Edited on Wed Jul-30-08 05:34 PM by old mark
then on a couple of sides with Jeff Beck, then with the Faces, where he met his long time guitarist Ronnie Wood and embarked on his solo carreer.
His voice was fucking great in those days - it's only a shadow of that now, but he is still a good singer.
Ronnie went on to some other English group after many years with Roddie.

8. Steam Packet, yes.
But Rod and Ron both played in Jeff Beck's group for two albums, Truth and Beckola, before that band split, and Stewart and Wood then joined Faces (formerly Small Faces, until Steve Marriott left for some Humble Pie.)

Let Me Love You

Let me love you, baby, you're driving my poor heart crazy.
Let me love you, baby, you're driving my poor heart crazy.
When I'm with you, woman, my whole life seems so hazy.

Baby, when you walk, you shake just like a willow tree.
Baby, when you walk, you shake just like a willow tree.
And ooh-whee, baby, you sure look so good to me

9. Rod Stewart was the lead singer with Jeff Beck back then(70's)
I saw them in concert back in 1972 :-) This sounds like Rod, back then.
