1. Okay, can somebody fill me in one what's up with Gov. Goodhair?

I've seen snippets on Buzzflash referring to some sort of potential scandal, but can't get any details. Is it just that he and his wife are splitting up, or is the first lady of Texas what is indelicately referred to as a beard?

That Ms. Perry caught Mr. Perry in bed with another man. And that's why they're getting a divorce.

One rumor has him in bed with the Secretary of State!

It has all the tropes of an urban legend. If I see facts there, I'll buy it. Until then I suspect it's just a function of Texas Republicans having run out of Democrats to malign.
