1. Do you mean the ones where you use a vaccum to suck the air out when done?
yeah, we use those for sweaters, etc. that only come out seasonally. Great spacesaver.

worked great. Slid her right under the bed. Took her out for Thanksgiving.

6. I used something similar to that when I went
to Europe. I was staying in hostels and didn't have much room. My backpack worked well with it going there...coming BACK without the space was an entirely different matter!

Just had them. Free after rebate. I had my doubts about the effecacy of such an item. But for free, I was willing to try it out. I spent a long time squishing and airing my foam pillow. My wife thinks I am crazy. But I had fun. Now I have to try to find a practical use for the damn things. what are they good for?

16. I might use some for my trip next week.
Problem is, clothes wind up really wrinkly if you use them, but I guess I can fluff them in the dryer to solve that problem.

and puffed right back up to the original size.

23. That's the problem I have--they never hold the vacuum seal.
I have a godson who just got deployed to Afghanistan and I had thought about sending him a good pillow by putting it into a space bag, but my fear is that it would come unsealed on the way there and that might not work out well.

I have a golden retriever so it is essential because they kilt is not gold but it would be if I left it out of the space bag.
