... to two kittens.

I was babysitting a holy terror of a kid. I was washing dishes for his mother. His mom had just recently gotten two kittens.

Obviously I wasn't watching him closely enough, because out of the bathroom shoot two kittens. They then proceed to climb my back -- my pain was accompanied by the distinctive smell of Prell.

Yes, he tried to shampoo the kittehs.

Think I mentioned that my cat used to walk on my keyboard and I was always afraid that she'd post on DU, LOL. She did participate in my e-mail...:D

BTW, I went to a DU meet-up last night, just a half dozen of us, locally, but it was really great...:D

But when I came home, somebody got into the wastebasket. It looked something like this::-(

Once in a while, Daisy will revert to that if she's alone to long.

As soon as I saw that, I knew it had to be on here, and be the last one. Perfect fit. :D

Hmm... noon on a Sunday. What to do, what to do ;)

Jack learned this from Charlie, who I stopped by putting something in front of the wastebasket, but Jack can still reach it, if given the chance. He will eat anything, tissues, paper money, and has ripped the labels off every pillow in the house... *sigh* Good thing for him that he's cute...:-)

As for the meet-up, I went with two friends who I know well, and we met a couple of new DUers. They were terrific. I'm invited back for lunch today, just got a call, would love to see them again, but I'm feeling a nauseous because we had several glasses of wine...x(

I just came to after a perfect sunday snooze. I was out visiting my friend who does a flea market and of course on my day off, I helped load a tool box into a car. :rofl:

There's a car show I should be at, but auto parts 6 days a week can dampen your drive to stroll around nothing but more things you'll be knee deep in come Monday.

I wasn't up for lunch, which I regret now, LOL, but I did get it together and went to our hostess from last night's house a bit later, since both she and her guest were also having a siesta. These are the two DUers who I met for the first time last night and we spent a pleasant afternoon chatting about everything from politics to animals. She has the most adorable little dog, who took turns sitting on all three laps, and I had another really nice time...:D

She took pix last night and I took a couple of them, together, today, and she's going to post a thread on DU about his visit and our meet-up... I'll be sure to alert you.;)

Do you work with cars? Wish I knew you earlier, since my previous two cars were a 1971 Plymouth Duster and a 1977 Dodge Diplomat...:hi:

The thing is that our hostess only lives five miles from me, though I still managed to get lost, LOL, and we've talked, but never managed to get together until know. So I made a couple of terrific new friends, and one who is local! BTW, you know them all...;)

So what do you do with cars? I prefer the older cars, obviously, though I inherited the Duster from my mother and the Dodge from my Dad. But I couldn't find anybody to fix them. I had rust problems, here in the North Country. But, these days, all anybody wants to do is insurance work, slap on a new fender and you're out the door. *sigh* :-(

It seems I lose parts for a living :rofl:

I dispatch drivers, maintain the inventory, deliver when need be, and take calls from shops for parts. This is why I nap on sundays :D

But it also sounds like an interesting job. When I worked at the amusement park, I used to bang on the intake manifold of my train which kept it running, LOL. The mechanics made fun of me, but it worked...:D

And you already know all the DUers that I saw or met this weekend. We discussed your Sunday LOL Cats thread this afternoon and they love them. And there is a little dog in one of the pix that looks very much like the pup who sat on my lap today... ;)

Shiloh is more brown undercoat, Shocco is darker gray. Shiloh was the runt of the litter and I have a feeling that Shocco was the first born. My best friend found the litter of four (3 boys and 1 girl) on the side of a dirt road in the National Forest. She has the other boy, named him Taj.
They are about a year old now. Taj has not been otuside but, my guys have free roam of all that they survey.

Thanks for giving me a chance to "brag" about my boys.
