18. Nom! Nom!

Son, DIL and little Grand_Nelly have been in NYC for past week...took G_Nelly to see Mary Poppins, Wicked and Little Mermaid The Musical, toured NBC studios, Rockefeller Center, backstage Radio City Mucsic Hall, FAO Schwarz, Saks, and more. Little Grand_Whoa had to stay at home this time, but his big trip will be coming up soon when they take him to DC in a couple of years (he's only 2...the NYC trip would have been too much for him)

So...
Little Grand_Whoa has been completely doted upon by all four of his grandparents, and loving every moment of the full attention! Has spent the night with me, been to the park, movies and swimming, out to lunch, dinner, and just general all 'round time for fun.

Yesterday, took him out for dinner (He's staying at his home with DIL's parents)
Then we played some of his fav computer games, THEN we went shopping where he picked out presents for his Abuela, Grandpa, Mom, Dad, and his sister. Mom, Dad, and Sis are coming home today.

What was so sweet was that he picked out a soft cloth baby doll for himself, cradled it, said, "Oh! A sweet little baby! I want it!", and proceeded to pick one out one for his sister in her favorite color as well. Of course, he also got a new dinosaur to scare people with!

He named his "new baby" BooBoo LaLa. :silly:

21. Wow, that's quite an adventure for them both.
ShineBoy got to see that same production of Mary Poppins in June when he went on his 8th grade graduation trip with his class to DC and NY. He said it was awesome.

Glad you're getting special one-on-one time with your grandson. How precious.

Have a happy reunion day! :hi:

9. When I got home from work yesterday, the late
afternoon sun was shining on the deck and I pulled out a lounge chair and just laid in it for about 30 minutes with the dog.

It was a little piece of heaven.
