okay, i can understand this.

but then they walk back to the cashier to get help and expect you to wait while they walk across the store and get somebody--

is it rude to start using the machine?

this happened to me yesterday.

i had to tell the lady that my transaction wouldn't hurt too much and that i would be long gone while she was still figuring it out.

then she said i was rude.

then i said, yeah, i'm a horrible human being.

but fucking hell, i really did not have the patience to wait for this asshead to be instructed on how to pay their motherfucking phone bill.

when i was done in 40 seconds, she told me "bad luck to you."

i couldn't resist, i told her "fuck you very much."

This person will now spend 30 minutes in the Self-Checkout, being checked out by a poor clerk who must ring up every. single. item. for the fuckwit.
