SPK Reviews: "The X-Files" Movie

Nice to sit in a cool theater looking at a movie filmed in winter with deep snow, takes one's mind off the unbearable temperatures lurking outside.

Scully (Gillian Anderson) is looking better with age.

Mulder (David Duchovney) also looks better than I imagined after I first saw him in the movie.

Lots of twists and turns (some hairpins) and love at the end of the rainbow.

I'd give it :thumbsup: :thumbsup: :thumbsup: because as an x files freak, I have to say it is a nice to see that Chris Carter hasn't lost his imagination. It is however an unbelievable amount of information being poured into one's mind at one time.

And I was not a huge fan of the show, although I liked the first few seasons.

Very atmospheric, suspenseful, and well-acted.

I might need to see it again to catch all the info.. it was a lot happening.
So much has happened to me since the 90's when I went crazy for X-Files, I can't get that person back. But I was glad to go and see the movie, I have strong feelings in there somewhere, like a memory that haunts me.

I really don't like when Mulder killed that dog :( but I'll blame that on Chris Carter, as much as I loved X-Files I never really liked him.

7. It's heaven for 'shippers.

As far as the actual case goes, it's a run of the mill monster of the week story, and would have made a respectable but unspectacular TV episode.
