Looks like Brett Favre may be headed for Tampa Bay
With the Green Bay Packers moving forward without Brett Favre, Tampa Bay has emerged as the star quarterback's destination du jour.

Favre has been angling to play for Minnesota, but the Packers are doing everything they can to keep him out of the NFC North. Tampa Bay appears to be the only trade option amenable to both the Packers and Favre. The Vikings aren't completely out of the picture, however, should they offer considerably more than Tampa Bay.

1. He waffles for the last
couple of years about retiring, then finally does retire, changes his mind and expects the Packers to welcome him back with open arms? Join the real world Brett. You've lost my respect.

3. He's probably not coming to Seattle
We have a very good quarterback of our own. At the same time, I have to admit a bit of fiendish joy when I consider the reaction of GB if he managed to get himself traded here...

Go Seahawks!

8. They're always a threat when Brett Favre is on the field
They've significantly upgraded that team over the past three years with smart drafting and mentorship of younger players. If Rodgers is any good at all, they'll kick ass, and I'm a big Seahawks fan.

The team I'm most scared of? Minnesota. With an elite QB to go with their elite DE, fearsome defense and Mr. Peterson, they'd be virtually unstoppable. This is exactly why GB is pulling out the stops to make sure Brett Favre is nowhere near Minnesota when the season starts. I'm a little confused as to why Tampa Bay's now talking to him. They already have Garcia.

7. Well, now there's talk of him going to the Jets.
I can't imagine it'd be any better if he ended up at the media capital of the world.
