4. Buffy died of a severe drug overdose...
According to Wikipedia, Cocaine, PCP, methaqualone and Seconal were found in her system when they did an autopsy. :(

7. That's so crazy.
I didn't know people were even doing PCP back when she died.

8. Love this quote from the Wikipedia page:
"I can read...except for a very big word we sometimes have. Like the word philosopher. Do you know what a philosopher is? Well ... it's a man that thinks a lot, but doesn't do anything much about it." (TV Radio Mirror, March 1967)

9. I had a Mrs. Beasley doll.
Just like the one Buffy is holding in the picture. You'd pull a string and it would say some stupid stuff.

Oh.... and growing up the neighbor across the street had a kitten named Mrs. Beasley...until the first visit to the vet...then it was Mr. Beasley.

18. Darn kids....they shouldn't play with toys.....oh wait....LOL
I was fascinated by the square glasses. Isn't it funny the trivial little things you remember? What does she say when you pull the string?

10. We do in this house!
In fact, we often do a scene from the cartoon "The Critic" (with a Godfather-era Marlin Brando playing Mr. French).

Jay Sherman: Next I'll review "Family Affair: The Movie." Look who got $40 million to play Mr. French.

Mr. French: Buffy. Jody. For your lunch today I have made peanut butter and banana sandwiches.
Buffy: Will you make a sandwich for my doll, Mrs. Beasley?
Mr. French: Sure. I got nothin' better to do than make a sandwich for your stupid little doll. No, don't get up - let me make another f***** sandwich...

12. I still hear the theme song ringing in my ears. . .
Mom loved that show, along with Hazel and Little House on the Prairie.

God rest her soul, and that of all but two in your picture who are gone.

13. Best episode -- when Buffy joined a street gang
And walked one foot on the curb and one in the street chanting "Fat Fat, the water rat, Fifty bullets in his hat."

Poor Sissy, she was mostly in the background, wasn't she. Must have been because of the beehive.

17. Brian Keith was an immensely talented actor...
who regretted being typecast as "just a TV actor" due to his stint on Family Affair.
How good was he? He comes off better than Marlon Freakin' Brando in "Reflections In A Golden Eye"

19. I recall Brian Keith had the same shooting deal as Fred MacMurry.
Filmed all his scenes for the season (lots of closeups/one-shots) over a few days then went home to golf or something.
