LOL! But seriously, I'm sure it's been discussed at length, but I cant wait for this movie- it really looks like they are getting almost everything right in an Alan Moore adaption for once...

2. Snyder will get it as right as a movie can get Watchmen. 300 was pretty much frame by frame. nt.

5. It was a pretty ppular graphic novel among comic nerds.
I know this as many of my friends are comic nerds.

6. I don't really get the hype.
I mean, I can sort of understand getting excited about a book being made into a movie. But a graphic novel? And a frame by frame adaptation? And a murder mystery as source material?

Meh.

7. It's better than it sounds. It's not just a murder mystery.

It's actually very symbolic and full of cultural references...

I wont try to convince you- but for a comic book, it's a lot more intelligent and literate than you might think. Each major character represents a political philosophy- or lack thereof.

If it means anything to ya, "Watchmen" is the only comic book to ever win a Hugo Award.

But- I can respect that you would be suspicious of anything hyped- especially from Hollywood...
