It runs for $25, but it's the best Merlot I've ever had. It's got the taste of dark chocolate and coffee and it has the aroma of cherries and chocolate.
We usually drink red, Merlo or a Cab. However we recently discovered an inexpensive box wine that we all liked. It's Vella, Burgundy. Oh, you said 'good' not cheap. But a $10.00 box of wine that is palatable IS good. :)
I am not a wine drinker but it was recommended- I was invited to a party and the invite said bring two bottles of wine this was one of them. I did not know it was a wine tasting party so I was glad I brought it because it won 1st prize. One of the wines was very expensive (don't ask me what it was, I am a porter beer drinker so...) but the person who brought the $$$$$ wine was none to happy when they learned my bottle was 9.99$
14. I've been drinking Riojas and Douros from Spain and Portugal.

The wines are refreshingly different than the top-selling varietals we buy here. Because they cost less, you get more for your money -- better quality. They go great with food too.
