2. well, you know she and I went to the stables

and gave the horse the "evil eye" on Friday afternoon. :rofl:

She is completely fine - I did tell the nurse though, that there was no reason to tell me she was "cleaning and dressing it twice a day" since it did not break skin. Her call surely implied there was flesh and blood involved. As you can see it was just a nasty bruise.

I think the mosquito bite she got right ON the bite shortly after the picture was taken was the most annoying part of the injury.

It was nasty looking though. The teeth marks are freaky....

I hope she isn't turned off of horses because of this.

They can be sneaky quick when they wanna take a bite out you.

4. thankfully not turned off to the horses....just asked

the instructors to ride a different horse from now on....

Weird this is we went to check out the horses and the biter was in the paddock with all the others, but off to the edge eating the fence - she just moved along the fence post like it was an ear of corn.

I felt bad for the horse at that point - I think it may be just sick and tired of dealing with kids....

5. Sounds like she's turning into a cribber and just a sour horse....

probably needs a new line of work or some time off to just go be a horse.

6. I think so too.

I was not impressed by the quality of life these poor horses are leading. I asked Little MB if she would agree not to ride at camp next year if I could look into lessons about a mile from home. She agreed they did not seem happy.
