then we have a great chance at gold.

However, we have no room for error, the ladies have to stick everything!

62. That was ridiculous
Shawn turned in about as perfect (and insanely difficult - did you see that one-foot pirouette) a beam performance as you will ever see. The commentator (Tim Daggett?), who has not been an overt homer, said there was nothing to criticize whatsoever.

67. Yep.
I know it's not a perfect 10 scoring anymore, but there is still that element in it. That should have been at the very least a 9.5 and I think that's a bit picky, too.

I'd like to see more about the scoring and what they are really looking at/for. I don't know if they are even sure of what they are doing with all of the scoring delays.

39. It's even more secretive...
one judge gave the Chinese girls a 16.3 execution and another gave them a 15.7 execution. .6 difference is huge in a sport where every tenth counts.

64. There is absolutely no way in hell some of those girls are 16.
Especially the tiny one. Her features were still all childlike.

And even though you practically need subtitles to figure out what Bela Karolyi said, it was pretty clear that he ain't buying it either.

But hey, if the Chinese passports say they're 16, then I guess it must be true.
