Getting Medieval (some art on wood panels)



I made these medieval musicians in acrylic paint on wooden panels.

3. Those are really cool! Did you model the figures after original images,
or create them from scratch? 'Cause you've really captured that medieval 'look'. The draping in the lap of the seated figure is particularly good, IMO...

5. Thanks, everyone!
I did get them out of a genuine medieval painting. I can't remember it's title or artist, but they were wearing blue in the original. It was a whole city scene, and I just plucked them out and enlarged them and gave them new colors. Gives them that semi-authentic feel.
