2. Y'know what struck me about him losing his tooth?
He had NO idea that would happen or that it was normal. To him, it was probably like a piece of his face falling off. Can you imagine how terrifying that would be? Thank goodness he's got the 13-month-older sister with a few holes in her smile to demonstrate!

I remember when the kitteh lost a tooth last year...Nobody told me that would happen! :o

that's a big milestone. I still have all my daughter's baby teeth, i don't why i saved them but i did. My bbby is about to turn 14 which makes me feel like bawling.

I read your other post and saw that he was upset and didn't understand about losing the tooth. That had to be pretty scarey for the little guy.

That reminded me of when my sis had her first period at 12-13. My Mom freaked out having been told by the Dr. that my sis may never have one or if she did it would come probably much later. My sis freaked out not knowing why she was "hurt" or why she had to wear those "tings" as she called them. She eventually got used to it though.

Is Jack excited about going to Kindergarten?
