Tell me something good.
Me? I've got the entire house to myself tonight til 3:30 tomorrow afternoon.

MrShine and ShineBoy are off on their annual backpacking trip to the Sierras, returning on Sunday.

ShineGirl is sleeping over at a summer camp she's been going to for a couple weeks.

Believe me, it's an incredibly RARE treat to have the whole house to myself for an overnite.

I'm sooooo stoked! :bounce: Plus, I took a 3 1/2 hr bike ride today, too. 46 miles, 2400 ft elevation gain.

1. Here's something good
I just spent an entire week in Nags Head and have a great tan and am relaxed. Oh, and people liked and commented on my stickies. Pretty good week for me so far. :hi:

North Carolina. Kitty Hawk (where the Wright Brothers took flight), Nags Head, Duck. My favorite beach that's near me. :)

7. She has a very well rounded education
Bach, the Hoff, the Clash and Ramones, Muppets, Addams Family, zombie and vampire movies (her favorite), roly-polys, and dry ramen noodles in place of chips. And I'll have you know, the Hoff is her favorite judge on America's Got Talent!

10. Three-day weekend!
Tomorrow is Statehood Day! The actual date of admission was Aug. 21, 1959, but the holiday is always the Friday before.

Plus, this year, Cokie Roberts is the Statehood Day Parade Grand Marshal! :P

12. Well that sounds cool, Hon...
We just reserved last night, three nights in Cambria at the Pelican Cove, executive suite full ocean view ;) for castle bizz in December. We're so nutty busy we have to plan that far ahead.

But after that we're going on down for four nights at the http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/hotels/landing?name=GrandCalifornianHotelLandingPage">Grand California and goof around the park and stuff. Should be fun. Told hubby my mom took me there for the 13th birthday, and that it's been like 27 years since. hubby said that was unacceptable...

We haven't had *any* time off for going on 4 years now unless we schedule it round clients and business :( I think I'm ready for this one :)

No, she is the blonde, almost 27. Our youngest is the redhead and she is 18. In fact, her eye just scrolled across the sticky board.

yeah, the cat's almost 19...she still gets around pretty well, but she sleeps a lot more these days. I'm gonna' shed tears when she goes.

Your weather sounds lovely. It has been close to 100* here just about every day this week. My veggies love it, but they take consistent watering.

18. My daughter and her sister are off on an adventure in SE Asia.
They left Sunday and will be gone for 6 weeks.

They have a travel blog where they post updates and pics.

The mom in me is a tiny bit worried, but overall, I am so excited for them!
