2. Women (and gay men): Is Michael Phelps a male butterface?
I mean the guy is built like a statute, but his face to me looks a little goofy. I don't know.

But I'm not that great a judge on men's looks beyond the obvious cases (George Clooney, Brad Pitt, etc.).

All I can say is that if I had 10 gold medals, a perfect physique, and what I can only assume is a boatload of money making sponsorships and endorsements lining up, I wouldn't mind looking like Michael Phelps, either.

32. Not to me. He's obviously (!) fit, has a great work ethic, and personally, the "nerdy" thing
is hot to me. I like a LITTLE bit of the nerd in my guys. That's just me, though. I'm also hot for Jason Lee (not his "Earl" character, though). Maybe I'm weird.

5. I'd have to say Phelps is better looking.
And maybe, as noted above, it has something to do with being turned off by the porno stache. The only thing with Phelps is that he can look very different in pictures. Sometimes very hot, sometimes, not so much. I ignore those photos.

If not, then you can't detract points now. He's shaved it off (and looks really quite good). I think it was just in style in the 70s.

Phelps, while having an amazing physique and probably lungs the size of Manhattan, has a bit of a meathead face. But a pretty face isn't necessary to swim like a dolphin!

It wasn't until the 90's that it became know as a porn-mustache.

ADD: In my neghborhood, that thing Broadway Joe is sporting always was and always will be a brocha (BRO-sha).

27. I was 20 yrs old in 1972
and I and all my friends had the major hots for Mark Spitz. He was a total "hunk." When I registered to vote, I registered "decline to state" just to copy my heart-throb, Mark. I still shake my head in amazement at that one.:crazy:

If Michael Phelps were even half as good-looking as Spitz, he would be the star of the century. Nonetheless, I think he will be just fine...

The one where he had seven gold medals around his neck and a red white and blue Speedo on.

I had it on my wall in my college dorm room, and the boys who came in were incredibly threatened by it. :eyes: They didn't have bods that were that good!!!!! :evilgrin:
