"Last Night"


Ira knocked

one of the mums

in the makeshift vase

(a blue glass)

beside the bed

in his sleep

and we woke up

with white petals

in between

the sheets

It's the second Trinidad piece you're posted IIRC. He has a talent for capturing the beauty of the mundane and common.
