My maiden name is in the 3000s, with 3 occurrences per 100k.

4. Not a shock, mines in the top 30
186 occurances in 100,000. I always run into people with my last name. Ironically, there's no way this surname is Eastern European (where that part of the family is from) so its probably a 4th generation changed name from Ellis Island...

But it's anglicized. The original name isn't even in the top 5,000. The name my paternal grandparents were issued at Ellis Island is number 4209.
