How many miles would you walk for the person(s) you love.
I love this song http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KZojpl-p_5A and I thought I'd probably walk 500 miles if that's what it took. I think I'd probably walk a lot farther though if I had to.

Seems like 500 miles would be quite an adventure and what...3 or 4 pairs of shoes.

I just wondered if anyone else would. :7

1. 1 or 2. Beyond that I'll drive or take the bus for the people I love.

4. I just wondered how much effort people would put into being with those
we love. Hey one or two isn't so bad though, you are a practical man.

2. I don't know about walking...
But there is a person that I would travel halfway around the world for...And I hope he knows that.

6. That is a lovely thought - We all need to know that someone
would be there if we needed them. You are a good friend Sue. :)

3. My dear OhioBlues!
It's a lovely romantic thought...

I'm not at all sure I could do it...

I'm old now, and my bones are pretty creaky...

But.

If I knew that were the only way? I'd do it too.

5. i just...
dropped everything I was doing on Wednesday
to fly to Flagstaff. Drove two days back home to Fort Worth.
We were home by 3pm on Friday.

My husband had a motorcycle accident while on his man-trip in the Grand Canyon, and I had to drive him home after he blew out his knee.

Does that count? I went 2000 miles.

13. Which begs the question: How many miles are there to walk?
Edited on Sun Aug-17-08 10:33 AM by ashling
I'd walk at least that many.

Did anybody see Robin Williams in What Dreams May Come He went to Hell and back.

16. This is "our song" for me and my husband
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hHZTUB3Sl-Y

"No Place That Far"

I can't imagine, any greater fear
Then waking up, without you here,
And though the sun, would still shine on,
My whole world, would all be gone,
But not for long,

If I had to run, if I had to crawl
If I had to swim a hundred rivers, just to climb a thousand walls,
Always know that I would find a way, to get to where you are,
There's no place that far

It wouldn't matter why we're apart,
Lonely minds or two stubborn hearts
Nothing short of God above
Could turn me away from your love
I need you that much

If I had to run, if I had to crawl
If I had to swim a hundred rivers, just to climb a thousand walls,
Always know that I would find a way, to get to where you are,
There's no place that far

If I had to run, if I had to crawl
If I had to swim a hundred rivers, just to climb a thousand walls,
Always know that I would find a way, to get to where you are,
There's no place that far

Baby there's no place that far

19. That is a beautiful song
Very nice. My husband I have one too. "No mater where you go I will find you." It's a pretty die hard romantic song, well either that or fit for a stalker. :)

20. I'd walk until I collapsed from exhaustion...
Then I would rest for a little bit, get up and continue my journey. The only way I would give it up entirely is if I died along the way, from exhaustion, exposure, whatever.

21. does this count?
i am at the end of a very toxic relationship.
one way that i handled the stress and the put downs was to eat.
Gained a fair amount of weight.

I am now exercising to loss that weight and to become more fit.
I walk several miles a night either on a tredmil or in my neighborhood.
I have lost over 20 lbs and feel much better about myself and my future.

So I walk everynight for the one i love, i just don't know who she is yet...
