My niece or nephew is due today

They are going to induce labor on the 20th if the baby doesn't come on his/her own before then.

I'm going crazy waiting -- this will be my first niece or nephew. Can't wait!

2. I can imagine your excitement!

It's such a thrill welcoming a new baby into a family. I remember when my first nephew was born SO many years ago :)

I'll keep a good thought that the baby has a safe journey and Mom gets through it quickly!

3. I just had my first nephew Aug. 1

Had to arrive via c section because he didn't flip around - perhaps due to his 22 inch length. Wasn't a big deal. In fact, I was up and walking around directly after. Of course, the procedure was performed on my sister.

We're thinking that he or she has doubts about joining our family.

On the bright side, I have six nieces and nephews - NOT blood related - and the 11 year old and 8 year old were telling their mother on Friday that I was their favorite aunt because:

1) I buy them books
2) I am never in a bad mood (around them)
3) I never get mad, and I don't even "get discouraged"!

but this one will be the first one I'm actually related to. I wish it would get here!
