Windows equivalent software to the wonderful CssEdit...
I would appreciate the hell out of it.

http://macrabbit.com/cssedit/

I am helping someone with a website and they absolutely insist I not log in to do it with my mac (they dont want the mac to macify it...:eyes:) so I am using their winblows comp to edit their website and I NEED the equivalent software.

Thanks in advance if anyone answers with a helpful answer.

4. I know a lot about software. I came to see if I could offer help.
But the Mac superiority complex made me think better of it.

Have fun!

7. What is macified CSS?
Edited on Mon Aug-18-08 03:48 PM by mainegreen
Is that possible?

Wouldn't dreamweaver work for you?

I'm probably not the best person to answer this though. I tend to edit source directly.

Edited to add: My editor of choice is ActiveState Komodo.

9. I have no idea
The website owner was convinced that if I logged into the website wiht my mac to edit it, It would screw it all up...

I got sick of trying to explain it to him, and jsut gave up and am attempting to do it by editing the files directly, but for the life of me can not figure out how to make the text in the body of the page bigger.

12. Might be a problem of browser support
Some older browsers (and any of the versions of Internet Explorer in "quirks mode") do not cascade styles properly, which means that you set font-size in the body tag, and text in a table within the body use the original text size instead. Try sticking in font-size styles in different tags and see what sticks. To get the widest amount of standardization across different browsers, you may find you have to explicitly define styles for pretty much everything.

8. I use Dreamweaver for all my coding.
But if you're looking for something free, maybe Bluefish? I dunno.

11. I've always hand-coded stuff like that
Never saw much use in all the fancy tools that do little more than add bloat to the code.
